St Michael's Mount

Hi bloggers,
Here in the south west of England we've had a few wet and windy days lately. We need some sunshine! So it's time to post my holiday pictures. We went on our holidays to Cornwall during the "heat wave" in the UK at the beginning of July.
St Michael's Mount has always been on my list of place's to visit and it didn't disappoint.
At low tide you can walk across to St Michael's Mount.
At high tide you have to get the boat across.
30 people live on the Island.
Birds of paradise flowers.
Natures patterns in plants.
within the castle at the top sits a church.
The gardens were a treat to wander around.
Cannons protecting the castle.

It's quite a climb up cobbled steps and paths to get to the top of the island to visit the castle but it's worth it for the views and the history in the castle.
Looking through photos of blue sky's and the sea has certainly cheered me up now.
Thanks for stopping by!
